Source:Minocqua Times Friday January 13, 1928

Miss Martha Arendt, 23 years of age, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Adolph Arendt, passed away at the family home near Rantz Monday evening. Miss Arendt had been in ill health for a number of years. Last winter she had measles and pneumonia which further impaired her health, and during the latter part of June she suffered a general break-down since which she had been an invalid. She became critically ill last Saturday, her condition becoming worse until Monday evening when death ended her long suffering.

Besides her parents, she leaves four sisters; Emma of madison, Ida of Chicago and Evelyn and Irma at home; and two brothers, Gustav and Adolph, both at home.

Funeral services were held at the Lutheran church here yesterday afternoon, Rev. I.J. Habeck oficiating, after which interment was made in the cemetery near Woodruff.
