There is a small marker for Mary Decorah, 1884-1911, but in 1970 after the reconstruction of County Trunk XX, the Loyal 4-H Club erected a larger sign, "Lest we forget, here lies Mary Decorah, born 1884 died 1911. A tribute to her early American Indian Heritage"

Many Indians lived in this area many years ago, as they were employed in the Cranberry harvest which was a big industry at the time.

The marker for this young Indian maiden was found when the highway was being relocated.
