Roena, wife of the late Lyman Dayton, aged 83 years. Deceased was the mother of William and Laurette Dayton of this city, and she had lived in Waupaca county over 35 years, she with her husband settling Dayton in 1850. She was a kind mother, an exemplary christian woman and loved by all who knew her. From the effects of an accident in falling a few years ago she never fully recovered, but her life's work is over-she has gone to meet her reward. Rev. Chas. Baker of Marshfield will preach the funeral sermon at the residence, at 1 p.m., Saturday and the remains will be laid at rest in the Rural cemetery beside her late husband, who was buried there about eight years ago. Rev. Baker also preached the funeral sermon on that occasion. ____________________________
