The following is a bill of fare used in the general dining hall:

SUNDAY
Breakfast - Baked potatoes, beef with gravy, bread , butter, fried-cakes, coffee
Dinner - Roast beef, mashed potatoes, gravy, stewed turnips, bread, butter, pie, tea
Supper - Baking powder biscuit, cheese, pickles, butter, cup-cake, tea

MONDAY
Breakfast - Warmed-over potatoes, fried pork, bread, butter, oatmeal, coffee
Dinner -Boiled beef, potatoes, steamed squash, bread-pudding, tea
Supper - Bread, butter, cold sliced meat, apple sauce, warm ginger-cake, tea

TUESDAY
Breakfast - Baked potatoes, beefsteak with gravy, brown bread, white, butter, coffee
Dinner - Boiled beef, pork, cabbage, potatoes, carrots, bread, butter, boiled rice, sauce, tea
Supper - Johnny-cake, bread, butter, cold meat, cookies, tea

WEDNESDAY
Breakfast- Warmed-over potatoes, fried pork, bread, butter, cake, coffee
Dinner - Pork and beans, roast beef, potatoes, gravy, boiled onions, bread, butter, pumpkin pie, tea
Supper - Cold meat, cold beans, pickles, spice cake, bread, butter, tea

THURSDAY
Breakfast - Baked potatoes, beef with gravy, oatmeal, bread, butter, coffee
Dinner - Roast beef, gravy, boiled potatoes, fried onions, graham pudding, bread, butter, tea
Supper - Cold meat, cold slaw warm, rolls, cake, bread, butter, tea

FRIDAY
Breakfast - Cold sliced meat, potatoes, boiled codfish, gravy, bread, butter, fried cakes, coffee, tea
Dinner - Fish, potatoes, steamed squash, bread, butter, pie, tea
Supper - Warm biscuit, cheese, pickles, cake, bread, butter, tea

SATURDAY
Breakfast - Baked potatoes, beefsteak, gravy, crackers, brown bread, white bread, butter, coffee
Dinner - Pork and beans,  baked beef, gravy, potatoes, raw onions sliced in vinegar, apple pudding with sauce, bread, butter, tea
Supper - Cold meat, sauce, cake, bread, butter, tea
