Florence Julie Knoke

Florence Julia Knoke, 97, 2760 Plover Road, Plover, died Thursday, April 9, 2009, at Riverside Medical Center in Waupaca.
 
A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. Sunday, April 19, at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, E3273 Appletree Lane, Waupaca, with Saul Pina, elder, officiating. Burial of her ashes will take place later at Farley Cemetery in the town of Waupaca in Waupaca County.
 
Visitation will be at Kingdom Hall from 5 p.m. Sunday, April 19, until the service.
 
Boston Funeral Home assisted with arrangements.
 
Mrs. Knoke was born April 18, 1911, in Bear Creek, a daughter of the late Albert and Della (Surprise) Babino.
 
In earlier years she was a school teacher and licensed practical nurse, retiring from nursing in 1973.
 
She was married to Harry Knoke on June 30, 1934, in Bear Creek. He died on July 13, 1989.
 
Survivors include five daughters, Nancy (Vernon) Peterson, Plover, Phyllis (Milton) Miller, Weyauwega, Kay (Milton) Ranes, Glendale, Ariz., Lolly (Ciro) Aulicino, Brooklyn, N.Y., and Faith (Tim) Huff, Glendale, Ariz.; five sons, Fred (Patricia), Kingman, Ariz., Edward (Marla), Wilmot, Dean (Raylene), Tucson, Ariz., John (Susan), Austin, Texas, and Allen (Becky), Crete, Neb.; one sister, Eunice Bricco; one daughter-in-law, Kathleen Knoke; 32 grandchildren; 62 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
 
She was also preceded in death by one son, David.
