Lot 1	CARTER	Aaron Carter	May 29, 1796-April 15, 1855	This is a home made wooden marker, bad weather worn the printing off so some time ago there was a new front printed on this but this too is getting faint. He was the first person to be buried in this cemetery, there is one older but that burial was moved from another cemetery. The cemetery record shows his wife Eliza Currier buried here but there is no marker. (NOTE: As seen in the photo there is a headstone with dates now in place.)
