She was born 1794 in Ireland1, and died 19 Nov 1867 in Watertown, Jefferson, WI, USA1.Notes for GEORGE BRADLEY: George Bradley was the second son of Lord Bradley of England and married when young. His first wife died in England, after which time he went to Canada. To this union there no children born. George met Elizabeth Bell Shannon in Canada and they were married. He was a carpenter by trade and also did some stone work, George with his 2 step sons (Shannon) fought in the French and Indian War. The Bradley's lived in the vicinity where some of the war was carried on. The Shannon boys never returned or were heard from after the war. After the war the Bradley's moved to Illinois with the exception of the Shannon girl who remained in Canada and later married a man by the name of Cornwall and was never seen afterwards. From Illinois the Bradley moved to Watertown, WI where they lived when George Sr. died at age 64. The House of Bell was pretty well up in rank. Elizabeth married a man named Shannon and because he was not of her class her people disowned her so they moved to Canada. To this union were born 3 children; 2 boys and a girl. Mr. Shannon died while they lived in Canada. Elizabeth died suddenly at the age of 82, probably of heart trouble( info from Francis document- will and documents from John dispute this). Elizabeth was always very spry and shortly before her death walked a couple of miles the same as any young person would have done.
