IT SNOWED MAY 10TH
Saturday morning the good people of Weyauwega beheld a covering of four inches of snow on the ground. Friday evening it began to rain, but the weather was cold and it turned into snow and continued snowing until about 7 o"clock Saturday morning. The weather continued cold and damp, though just above the freezing point, all day, and some of the snow remained with us until Sunday afternoon. Shoveling snow off the sidewalks, and snow-balling, on the 10th of May was a novelty.

It is not believed that fruit and vegetables suffered as no frost occurred. Thursday night the temperature fell below the freezing point, but no particular damage was done.
