IOLA - Population, 900. An incorporated village on the Iola & Northern R.R. and on the south branch of the Little Wolf river, in Iola township, Waupaca county, 14 miles north of Waupaca, the county seat and 120 from Milwaukee. Iola has Lutheran and Methodist Episcopal churches, excellent educational facilities, 2 banks, electric  light plant and a weekly newspaper, the Iola Herald. Telephone connection. Exp. W.F. & Co.
