CLINTONVILLE - Population; 1,700 Is located on Pigeon River and on the Ashland div. C. & N. W. Ry., in Waupaca County, 35 miles northeast of Waupaca, the judicial seat, and 156 miles northwest of Milwaukee, It has Adventist, Catholic, 2 Congregational, 2 Lutheran, and 2 Methodist churches, high and graded schools, 2 flouring mills, a planing mill, 2 shingle mills, 2 saw mills, sash, door and blind factory, a machine shop, brick and tile works, 2 banks, and 2 weekly newspapers-the Tribune and the Sun.
