Ann Krause

Anna "Ann" Krause, 61, Iola, mother of a Plover man, died Monday, Oct. 15, 2007.
 
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Big Falls. Burial will be in Big Falls Cemetery.

Visitation will be at Voie Funeral Home in Iola from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday.
 
Mrs. Krause was born Aug. 29, 1946, in Milwaukee, a daughter of the late Clyde and Eleanor (Plewa) Hornburg.
 
She was married to William "Bill" Krause on Oct. 12, 1968, in Oconomowoc. He died Aug. 29, 1995.
 
She had worked for many years as an assembly line worker for OMC-Tradewinds in Manawa.
 
Survivors include one daughter, Kerry (Mike) Reese, Marion; one son, Kirt, Plover; one sister, Cheryl Figura, Cleveland, Ohio; and one brother, David (Joyline) Hornburg, Greenfield.

Esther S. Kraklow

Esther S. Kraklow, 88, formerly of Milwaukee, died Wednesday, July 9, 2008, at Wellington Place in Stevens Point.
 
Private family services were held at Pisarski/Dzikoski Funeral Home in Stevens Point. Burial will take place in Big Falls.

Mrs. Kraklow was born Jan. 19, 1920, in Milwaukee, a daughter of the late Stanley and Catherine (Sobczak) Laszewski.
 
She was married to Harry Kraklow. He preceded her in death.
 
Survivors include four daughters, Jacqueline (Ray) Lehman and Lois (Frank) Iwanski, both of Stevens Point, Sharon (William) Ficken, Mosinee, and Margaret (Steve) White, Pleasant Prairie; four sons, Harry Jr., New York, Karl (Nanette), Houston, Texas, Mark (Jane), Iola, and John (Jean), Stevens Point; 31 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and five stepgrandchildren.
 
She was also preceded in death by two sons, Charles and James; and one daughter, Kathleen Kraklow.

Thomas L. Haroldson

Thomas L. Haroldson, 43, Big Falls, a former Rosholt man, died unexpectedly Friday, Nov. 9, 2001, while visiting at his parents' second home in Mercer.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Faith Lutheran Church in Rosholt. Burial will follow in Big Falls Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at Voie Funeral Home in Iola.

Mr. Haroldson was born Jan. 5, 1958, a son of Tom and Lois (Arndt) Haroldson. He graduated in 1976 from Rosholt High School, where participated in football and wrestling.

Shortly after graduation he took over the Big Falls Oil Co. from his uncle, Russell Arndt, and ran the company until retiring in May.

He was associated with the Big Falls Lions Club, Iola Old Car Show, Big Falls Archery Club and Big Falls Corn Roast.

Survivors include his parents, Rosholt; three sisters, Louisa Haroldson, Rosholt, Julaine (Arsene) Seiler, Marshfield, and Marilyn Haroldson, Junction City; one brother, John, Rosholt; and his maternal grandmother, Lillian Arndt, Big Falls.

Lillian L. Arndt

Lillian Louise Arndt, 100, Big Falls, mother of a Rosholt woman, died Thursday, Feb. 20, 2003, at her daughter's second home in Mercer, where she had lived the past two years.

Services were held Monday at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Big Falls, with the Rev. Janice Kuder officiating. Burial was in Big Falls Cemetery.

The Beil-Didier Funeral Home in Marion assisted the family with the arrangements.

Mrs. Arndt was born Nov. 13, 1902, in the town of Union in Waupaca County, a daughter of the late Fred and Ottelia (Brier) Hedtke.

She was married Lewis C. Arndt on Nov. 23, 1923. He died in November 1952.

She was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church, Big Falls.

Survivors include one daughter, Lois (Tom) Haroldson, Rosholt; four grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by one son, Russell; four sisters, Mary Herman, Emma Fetzer, Clara Dennison and Helen Jasman; four brothers, Henry, Walter, Louie and Arnold Hedtke; and one grandson, Tom Haroldson.
