He was educated in the school of Enterprise, Wis., and remained at home until he was 21 years of age. From that time until 1920 he worked in the lumber woods during the winter months of each year. This farm is equipped with a full set of buildings and has a blacksmith shop which Mr. SCHOENECK operates in addition to conducting his farm, on which he raises potatoes and does mixed farming. He is a prominent figure in the affairs of his community and is a man of fine ability. He served as supervisor of the town of Enterprise for five years, and was a director on the school board of his district for 12 years, being a member of the building committee during the construction of the new Enterprise school. He and his family are members of St. John's Lutheran Church at Enterprise. Mr. SCHOENECK was married at Enterprise, Wis., Aug. 4, 1908, to Miss Bertha KUSHMAN, who was born May 3, 1890, at Schofield, Wis., daughter of Julius and Anna (GENTZ) KUSHMAN.
