CEMETERIES OF VILAS COUNTY1996 Tombstone Transcriptions. Most of the cemeteries in Vilas County were transcribed in 1996 by Rosamond Vannoy who published two Volumes of "CEMETERIES OF VILAS COUNTY WISCONSIN". This book does not include unmarked graves, only tombstone transcriptions. NEW TRANSCRIPTIONS: Currently there are volunteers who are working on transcribing and/or photographing cemeteries in Vilas County.
