Joseph E. Skochil

Joseph E. Skochil, 60, Piehl, died suddenly in his home this morning.

Born September 22, 1915 in Monico, he had been employed by the Soo Line Railroad. He was a member of the Brotherhood of Maintenance Railroad Employees.

Survivors include his widow, the former Grace Anderson; two daughters, Mrs. James (Bonnie) Kofler and Mrs. Mike (Cindy) Waalkens, both of Rhinelander; three brothers, Edward and Richards, both of Rhinelander and Larry of Mentor, Ohio; two sisters, Mrs. Marie Huber of Monico and Mrs. Cy (Gertrude) Fish of Pacoima, Calif. His parents and a brother are deceased.

Funeral services will be 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Hildebrand Funeral Home with the Rev. David Michaels officiating. Interment will in Forest Home. Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. today.
