Marie Catherine Huber

Marie Catherine (Skochil) Huber, 72, of 1207 Mason St. died Wednesday, July 25, 1990 at Taylor Park Nursing Home.

She was born July 31, 1918 in Monico.

Mrs. Huber worked for the Sportsmen’s Café and Consolidated Paper Nursery in Monico. She was also a retire Postal employee. She had lived in the Rhinelander and Monico areas all of her life.

She is survived by six sons, Robert of Bellevue, Wash., Richard of Crandon and William, Eugene, James, and Patrick all of Rhinelander; two daughters, Donna Cole and Terri Huber, both of Rhinelander; three brothers, Richard Skochil and Edward Skochil both of Rhinelander and Lawrence Skochil of Mentor, Ohio; one sister, Gertrude Fink of Poicoma, California; 13 grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Francis; one son; two brothers and one grandchild.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with Father James Jackson officiating. Burial will be in the Monico Cemetery. Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. today at the Hildebrand Funeral Home with a 7 p.m. parish prayer service.
